Kooper

Kooper is the producer of The Madd Hatta Morning Show, so basically he does nothing.  He was born and raised in Houston and attended J. Frank Dobie High School.  He then went on to attend The University of Texas at Austin (GO LONGHORNS!), where he earned his B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Radio, Television, & Film.  He began his career in radio in 2005, when he landed his first job in Austin, TX at “The Beat 104.3.”  In 2006 he made the big move back to Houston to begin working for 97.9 The Box, and in 2007 joined The Madd Hatta Morning Show. Kooper is proud to be a first-generation American; his parents are both from India. He has been a vegetarian his whole life, and if you talk to him long enough, he will convince you that Boca burgers taste exactly like real meat (not that he knows what real meat tastes like.)  In his spare time, Kooper produces music (email him for beats), boxes, and reads (gotta exercise the body and the mind!).  He is always coming up with ways to meet new people (his friends think it’s time for him to meet Mrs. Kooper) and never misses an opportunity to show off his Houston pride.  Kooper’s favorite part of his job is keeping up with useless pop culture so the guys on the MHMS have something to talk about.
